Online tutoring from Pakistan for Houston families: school math and English matched to the Texas TEKS, STAAR practice, SAT prep and Quran and Urdu lessons.
Texas did not adopt the Common Core. Schools in Houston teach the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and students take the STAAR tests in reading and math from grade 3, with end-of-course exams in high school subjects such as Algebra I and English.
Our tutors follow the TEKS topics your child is studying, and add STAAR-style practice before the tests. For older students we prepare for the digital SAT.
Houston has one of the largest Pakistani communities in the USA, and many families want a tutor who shares their languages and understands their expectations.
Weekend lessons fall in the Pakistan evening and are the easiest to arrange. Weekday afternoon and evening lessons on the East Coast fall in the early hours in Pakistan, and on the West Coast in the Pakistan morning, so we agree weekday times family by family. Message us with the times you want.
